Job Description
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Great people make Schneider Electric a great company Overview This position is accountable and responsible for managing from complex Prefab Customer project orders to exceed customer expectations through project execution. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of customer projects (Customer Project Process).
What will you do? - Takes ownership for validating the project's scope of work, schedule, cost, and contract terms with the customer, including, risks, technical and commercial elements and becomes lead contact for customer during project execution. (Project Initiation).
- Develops and maintain project organization, schedule, risk register and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met. Direct engagement with the customer internal manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors. (Project Planning).
- Monitor the execution of the customer's project order, verifying execution of the project through kick-off meetings, project schedule, communication to all parties and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information. Manage decision making process towards the best cross-functional compromise and effectiveness. Drives Risk and Change Managements, solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship. (Project Execution)
- Lead the monitor and control of the performance of the customer's project through its lifecycle. Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, managing the exchange of project updates across the project team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration. Monitor project progress against the plan and establish regular reports to key stakeholders. Measure and reports project performance indicators (Monitor and Control Project Work)
- Lead the closeout of the customer's project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation and start-up coordination, and training support completion. Point of Contact with the customer, and coordination with support services such as field services, after-shipment support, and training functions. Captures lessons learn and documentation approvals for future projects.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to understand complex technical topics
- Strong leadership skills including, team leading, employee mentoring and development, and the ability to empower others through delegating responsibility.

- Advanced understanding of project management and project finance
- Ability to build and maintain technical and commercial awareness
- Ability to define and put in place short and medium term action plans to increase customer satisfaction while improving business growth and efficiency
- Strong organization, time/project management skills/planning and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Project, and Excel
- Results oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Decision-making and escalate appropriately when arbitration is required.

Education: - Four-year degree required
- BS degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
- PMP (PMI), CPMP/CPMA SE Internal Certification preferred
Experience: - 5-8 years of experience managing projects/program
- Understanding of systems integration, HVAC or other building or electronic control systems is a plus
- Schneider Electric products and Electrical Enclosure integration knowledge is a plus
