Regalis Foods is a specialty foods importer and distributor of rare foods located in Long Island City, NY. We specialize in truffles, wagyu, caviar, uni, and more. 

Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Wholesale Shipping and Receiving Team. This position involves pulling, packing, and shipping product nationally to professional and home chefs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, put lots of care into each order, and is excited to take initiative in developing the role as Regalis grows.

Responsibilities:

• Pack products in the proper shipping containers, create mailing labels and shipping documents, and ensure that all orders are filled correctly
• Adhere to SOPs and see that perishable or fragile products are safely sent out
• Keep records of all products shipped and received for the day
• Unpack large deliveries
• Maintain and organize a clean and efficient work environment
• Purchase and ensure that packaging materials are sufficiently stocked
• Communicate with other team members about any shipment or product issues
• Jump in to help other team members during busy times

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in a food setting (restaurant, grocery, etc.)
• Attentive to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask, efficiently manage your time, and work independently and with the team
• Ability to lift 50lbs, stand on your feet for most of the day, and work in and out of coolers and freezers

Compensation:

• Starting rate of $20/hr based on experience
