Abonmarche is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern in our Kalamazoo, MI office.

Job Summary:

This position is an entry-level position with a maximum of 20 hours per week. The Marketing Intern will assist with marketing-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with proposal production.
  • Assists with updates to company website.
  • Assists with maintaining marketing materials, information systems, tracking systems and records.
  • Performs research on prospective clients and projects.
  • Assists in preparing slides, story boards or other special items for a presentation.
  • Assists in maintaining the professional resumes of all applicable firm personnel.
  • Assists with computer graphics for proposals and presentations.
  • Assists in writing, word processing, typing, editing and manipulation of information (letters, proposals, brochures and other marketing materials)
  • Assists with firm services brochure - Keeps updated.

Education:

Currently enrolled in a Marketing or Communications degree program.

Work Experience/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar business market is a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite including Publisher, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suites, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as well as multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone and on teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

Typical office environment with some work performed outside on a project site. May be exposed to extreme temperatures. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety boots/shoes, hard hat, safety vest, etc.
