Territory Sales Rep

Position Overview
As a Territory Sales Rep, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned territory through effective sales strategies and relationship management with key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis and customer feedback
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Create and deliver sales forecasts and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective promotional activities
  • Manage budgets and pricing to maximize profitability
  • Maintain expert product knowledge and stay up-to-date with market trends
  • Conduct outside sales visits to customers in your territory
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the territory
  • Exceed sales targets through effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Manage organizational and time management skills to maximize sales productivity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective CRM software use
Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience in the Home Goods and Decor retail industry
  • Strong understanding of sales and business growth strategies
  • Excellent relationship management and customer feedback skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform sales strategies
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Pricing knowledge and experience managing budgets
  • Project management experience
  • Nice to have: Sales forecasting, promotional activities, product knowledge, outside sales experience, business development skills, market analysis, account management, customer retention, marketing strategy, sales reporting
