Job Description

Luminary Group is currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Senior Vice President of Business Development with a strong focus on Real World Evidence (RWE). As the Senior Vice President of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the healthcare industry, specifically related to RWE solutions. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base, establishing key partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This is an exciting leadership position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of Real World Evidence while working with a dynamic and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to promote the adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions.
  • Identify and target potential clients within the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing the value of our Real World Evidence solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the business development team, driving performance and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
  • Represent Luminary Group at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance our brand presence and generate leads.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on business development activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Real World Evidence (RWE).
  • In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic growth, expanding client base, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing a business development team, with a focus on driving performance and achieving results.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive innovation, and differentiate our solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve their full potential.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
