Senior Project Manager- Wastewater/Water

We're a 70 year running leader in infrastructure construction in the southeast region of the United States. We specialize in bridges, dams, highways, water/wastewater facilities. We do general contracting for a multitude of clients including commercial organizations, state & city municipalities, and developers, as well as self-perform work, mechanical/electrical maintenance & construction for those some partnering entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple wastewater and water construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and success.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on wastewater and water construction projects.
• Proven experience in general contracting and self-performing construction tasks.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater and water industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
