Our goals are to discover and develop new techniques and information to benefit animals, agriculture and human health. Our internationally recognized faculty have diverse interests in animal management, breeding, genetics, physiology, nutrition, growth biology and microbiology.

The Duan research group uses genomics and computational approaches to investigate key molecular mechanisms which regulate transcription events in animal developmental reprogramming. We identify functional factors that coordinate gene expression during development and under environmental stressors.
