Job Description

What you will do:
  • The role is focused around execution and monitoring as well as supplier performance management, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and alignment with company strategy.
  • Propose actions (Multi-sourcing, reduce risk of global shortage raw material, QVE- Quality value engineering, change of supplier, Outsourcing, Lean, new project, transfer project, analysis, bench mark with market. ) within his/her perimeter in consistency with commodity strategy.
  • Work alongside with commodity manager before localization or change of business allocation.
  • Manage supplier consultation & selection, according to commodity strategy.
  • Manage supply qualification; negotiate and manage contracts with local/specific suppliers
  • Contribute to the purchasing database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers / supplier leaders/ update database of spend; update specific basis.
  • First escalation level for supplier crisis management
  • Follow-up the quality and cost reduction objective related to action plan/productivity program ( QVE, change of supplier, negotiation)
  • Relationship management with vendors
  • Initiate, define, plan, communicate and follow up project of Change of supplier, ideas on QVE, outsourcing and implement on time to be success on: customer first , productivity efficiency , supplier capability to meet company requirement.
  • Communication with relevant entity, regional of launching project


Experience and skills, we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or/ and Business Administration
  • Min 7-10 years of direct experience in procurement/ sourcing (direct material) with minimum 2-3 years in a managerial position
  • Business Understanding
  • Very Good command in English
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills
