We are seeking a skilled and compassionate board-certified psychiatrist to join our supportive team of mental health professionals.
Job Overview:
As a remote psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to conduct online consultations and provide treatment to patients of all ages facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and timely records of patient progress using electronic health records and will communicate regularly with patients and their families about their treatment plans. Our dedicated clinical team, including registered nurses and pharmacists, will provide you with close support in delivering comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct online psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based psychiatric treatment tailored to each patient's needs.
Collaborate with therapists and counselors to ensure holistic care for patients.
Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care.
Participate in peer supervision and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist.
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
Active medical license in the state where you reside and are authorized to practice.
Skills Required:
Experience providing psychiatric treatment to patients.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Comfortable using telemedicine technology and electronic medical records.
Compensation:
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
