Job Description

Nexeo HR is seeking experienced MIG Production Welders for the manufacturing of steel trailers. This role involves performing repetitive MIG welding on steel components, adhering to blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess the skills necessary for a high-production welding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding  on steel trailers, ensuring high-quality work and consistency. 

• Read and interpret blueprints  to complete welding tasks accurately and efficiently. 

• Work with a variety of trailer types , including four primary models and their variations. 

• Lift and handle materials  up to 50 lbs as part of the production process.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment  to promote safety and efficiency.

• Follow safety protocols  in a shop environment with limited ventilation, especially during the winter months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG production welding, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure precise welding tasks. 

• Must provide own welding gear, including a welding hood, gloves, scraper, etc.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. 

• Proficiency in English to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with team members. 

• Comfortable working in a shop environment with strong odors due to limited ventilation, especially in winter months.

Pay 

$24.00 - $27.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday | (4-10’s) 6:00am -4:30pm
