Your Role as an Instructional Coach - Collaborative Coaching – Implement a student-centered coaching model to support instructional growth and best practices.
- Teacher Support – Partner with educators through co-teaching, observations, reflective dialogue, and lesson modeling.
- Standards & Curriculum Alignment – Assist teachers in aligning instruction with academic standards, curriculum, and assessments.
- Positive Learning Environments – Model strategies that create inclusive, engaging, and productive classroom cultures.
- Professional Development – Lead training sessions and mentoring that build teacher capacity and self-reflection.
- Data-Driven Improvement – Use student data and classroom insights to guide instruction and support school improvement planning.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid PA Instructional II Special Education certification
- Minimum of 5 years teaching in a special education classroom
- Recognized as an experienced and accomplished educator
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills to support both individuals and teams
- Ability to coach, mentor, and lead school staff with empathy and effectiveness
