Under general supervision, the Graphic Designer provides graphic support for the Human Resources division. Individuals in this role will oversee the graphic design process, which includes planning, developing, implementing, and supervising the design, illustration, and production of graphics projects. This position utilizes a variety of graphic software, graphic techniques, desktop publishing techniques, production equipment and supplies to prepare and design layouts and produce graphic materials. The Graphic Designer is expected to exhibit exceptional computer and design skills and be able to convert key information and abstract concepts into compelling visuals.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Graphic Design: Conceptualizes, plans, and develops concepts for a variety of graphic design projects. This involves designing graphics and layouts for a diverse range of marketing materials, including print and digital advertising, direct mail, brochures, exhibitions, display graphics, corporate branding, and other marketing collateral.
- Communication & Collaboration: Provides graphic art direction and creative input throughout the marketing and branding processes; partners with various teams to determine effective methods for achieving communication goals and objectives.
- Media Management: Assists in the creation, design, and development of social media, websites, and intranet sites.
- Production Management: Manages the print production process, including soliciting vendor bids, preparing and delivering design files, and conducting press checks.
- Graphic Software &Techniques: Utilizes graphic software, graphic techniques, desktop publishing techniques, production equipment, and supplies to prepare and design layouts and produce graphic materials. In addition, determines the composition, views, and perspective necessary for functional and aesthetic presentation.
- Quality Control: Graphically proofs and performs quality reviews of all assigned projects by examining the overall design of documents and materials, typesetting, content, and images ensuring standards are established and implemented for all graphic media.

Requirements Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a directly related field and five (5) years of experience in graphic design, creative directing, or other relative experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of new graphic industry software and hardware.
- Knowledge of printing and other production processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and proofing skills.
- Exceptional computer skills with extensive experience in design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign).
- Experience in creating newsletters, flyers, posters, invitations, websites, and maps.
- Ability to translate information and abstract concepts into compelling visuals, including charts, graphs, informational graphics, and graphical design elements.
- Ability to effectively express and present ideas while actively listening and incorporating ideas from other team members.

- Occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required based on the specific needs and demands of the department.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: - This position is based in an office environment, where the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and filing cabinets is routine.
- The physical demands associated with this job are minimal, with occasional lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- The role is predominantly sedentary, involving mainly sitting with occasional standing and walking.
