Job Description
We are looking for a Accounting Firm Manager / Future CEO for our Accounting Practice located in Greenville, SC. CPA required, and minimum 10 years managing Tax/Accounting practice required. This hire will be responsible for the daily operations, hiring and training new staff, building and assembling teams, delegating projects and managing office deliverables, coaching and mentoring, and escalated client communications.

Strategic Leadership
• Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate the firm’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
• Market Positioning: Identify market trends and opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Operational Oversight • Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and monitor financial performance, ensuring the firm meets its goals.
Financial Stewardship • Budgeting: Develop and manage the firm’s budget, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Client Relations • Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
Team Leadership • Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Team Building: Promote collaboration and communication within the firm.
Compliance and Risk Management • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the firm adheres to all accounting standards and regulations.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Stakeholder Communication • Internal Communication: Keep employees informed and engaged regarding firm goals and changes.
• External Communication: Represent the firm to stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and the public. Innovation and Technology
• Adoption of Technology: Drive the integration of new technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation to enhance service offerings.
Community and Industry Engagement • Networking: Build relationships within the industry and participate in relevant associations.
Qualifications:
• Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field, Master’s degree preferred
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Must have passed the uniform CPA examination from the AICPA and be CPA certified within the state board of accountancy regulations
• At least 10 years Accounting or Tax practice management experience
